Adam Sandler's daughters, who frequently appear in his films, are once again in the spotlight with their parts in "Happy Gilmore 2," which debuted on Netflix on Friday, July 25.

In this latest film, Adam Sandler, age 58, returns to play Happy Gilmore, more than 29 years since the first "Happy Gilmore" was released.

Sandler's two daughters, Sadie, 19, and Sunny, 16, have been featured in several of the movies their father stars in, and "Happy Gilmore 2" is a new addition to that list. Sadie Sandler plays the role of Charlotte in the film, while Sunny Sandler takes on the part of Happy Gilmore's daughter, Vienna.

The sisters were also featured in "You Are So Not Invited to My Bat Mitzvah," which was released on Netflix in 2023.

What is 'Happy Gilmore 2' centered around?

In this follow-up, which Sandler helped write, Happy stepped away from golf following a sad event many years prior.

When he must come up with $300,000 to enroll his daughter, Vienna (Sunny Sandler), in an elite ballet academy in Paris, Happy returns to the golf course and meets his former friend Shooter McGavin (Christopher McDonald). Happy also faces the challenge of protecting traditional golf as an energy drink tycoon (Benny Safdie) attempts to promote a wilder form of the game.
